Caitlin Burke Solves Wheel Of Fortune Puzzle With One Stinking Letter

There are so many things to love about this video.  Caitlin Burke was a contestant on the Wheel of Fortune on a show that aired Friday, and she did the unthinkable-she solved a seven word puzzle with just one letter on the board.

I cannot quit watching this video for two reasons:

  1. The audible gasps from the audience.  Seriously, they gasp out loud at the audacity that one might propose to solve the puzzle at such a premature moment.
  2. Pat Sajak’s reaction.  He is literally speechless when she asks if she can solve the puzzle. There is quite the pregnant pause before he agrees to her reckless request.  It’s almost as if he was fearful that they might have a nutcase on their hands.  What should he do?   Then, after she actually solves the puzzle, I can’t be sure, but I think he might have messed his britches a little.

Here’s a video of Caitlin from the show, then being interviewed about her “amazing” feat.  I must say that I find her highly suspect after watching the interview.  She doesn’t seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer, if you catch my drift. (I’m kidding.  I can’t even solve some of that shit when there is only one letter missing.  I’m jealous.)

If she knew it before calling a letter, and knew she was going to solve, why not call “g” or “t” and get three times the cash she got with the single “l” ???

bertram00…like she said if you watched the video, she was working it out in her mind. The g’s could have been in other words..but by placing the “l” where she thought it should go, it sealed it that it was the phrase she had in her mind? Could that have been the reasoning? Plus it was all very quick. Or if it was kinda on the questionable side as far as if she knew it ahead of time…it looks better to solve it with one letter!!
