Flight attendants are everyday heros. Steven Slater is a God.
When I heard the story this morning about a Jet Blue flight attendant freaking the F out and quitting in the most deliciously dramatic way after being mistreated by a passenger for the last time, I knew I would need to pay homage to this man in a big way. This guy did what every service worker has only dreamed about when he went on a profanity ridden tirade on the plane’s PA system before grabbing a couple brewskis, deploying the emergency slide and launching himself out of his flight attendant career forever. I had planned on writing a “We Salute You” piece to Steven Slater, but my friend The Bitchy Waiter has already penned a fantastic tribute. My sentiments exactly, B Dub.
