Me: "I'll have a #8 with soft tacos (and lava sauce), and a drink." Speaker: "What would you like to drink?" Me: "Scotch" Speaker: "Excuse me?" Me: "Scotch. Single. Malt. Scotch." Speaker: "Yeah, you and me both." Me: "Well, if you don't have Scotch, I'll just take a lemonade." Speaker: "OK. #8, soft-taco's, with a pink lemonade" Me: [glaring] "Yes." ***** To be honest, I wasn't expecting to hear "pink" lemonade again, and I was caught flat-footed. I had nothing with which to reply. No clever retorts. No witty responses. Just a 32oz plastic cup of PINK lemonade. I drank the whole thing. Update: The Scotch Gambit failed.
